 The Timberwolves traveled to Pe Ell on Thursday and fell to the host Trojans 68-38.
 Morton/White Pass fell behind 18-6, but closed the gap to 20-12 after a quarter with back-to-back steals and lay ups by Atkinson. Pe Ell led 29-18 at the half and 41-24 after three.
 The Timberwolves scored four straight to open the fourth quarter to pull within 13 points at 41-28, but the Trojans went on a scoring binge over the next four minutes outscoring the visitors 18-1 to put the game away. They outscored Morton/White Pass 27-14 in the final quarter.
 “Darian had a good game shooting the ball for us,” Kanyer said. “I was happy with the adjustments that we made from the Adna to the Pe Ell game. We improved, played with more confidence and played with Pe Ell for three quarters. We just didn’t play a full game. Nicole did a great job on Sami Robinson holding her to four points through three quarters.”
 Atkinson led the Timberwolves with a career-best 16 points making 3 of 8 three-balls in 28 minutes on the floor.  Elledge added eight points, with Anderson scoring five and Jeanie Mullins four. Kelly (six rebounds, five steals, four assists) and Reynolds scored a bucket apiece and Eveland (eight rebounds) added a free throw. Morton/White Pass shot 26 percent for the game (14 of 54) and committed 32 turnovers.
 Alissa Brooks-Johnson led the Trojans with game-highs of 23 points and 12 rebounds. Pe Ell shot 39 percent for the game (26 of 66).
