In Randle hosting Adna the Timberwolves lost 58-32. After a strong first quarter where the Pirates led 16-13 the offense for the hosts went cold and they were outscored 42-19 the rest of the way.
Junior Chelbi Eveland scored 13 points on 6 of 10 shooting to go with seven rebounds. Freshman Ashley Kelly added 10 points (two three-pointers). Nicole Anderson (five rebounds, two assists) scored four, Whitney Elledge three and Jeanie Mullins two. Darian Atkinson grabbed a career-best six rebounds.
The Pirates shot 47 percent for the game (25 of 53) and 60 percent in the second half (12 of 20). The Timberwolves finished 14 of 53 shooting for the game (.264) and were outrebounded 38-35.
