January 4, 2010 (at Winlock)

   The Timberwolves began the week on the road in Winlock and beat the Cardinals, for the second time in six days, 52-30.
   Morton/White Pass led 7-4 after a quarter and outscored the hosts 30-12 in the middle two frames. They scored at least 14 points in three of the four quarters. Winlock was limited to 16 points through the first 24 minutes.
   Eveland scored 15 points, in just 15 minutes on the floor, with Elledge adding 14 on 4 of 6 shooting (2 of 2 three-pointers). Anderson scored five points with Atkinson (four steals), Kelly (five steals), Jade Lundy, Maddy McCoy each putting in four points. Reynolds (three steals) added two points.
   “I was glad to see Chelbi have a good scoring game,” Kanyer said. “I'd like to see that more consistently from her. Whitney had a good shooting night, and Jade did well for us off the bench.”
   Bertucci and Eveland each grabbed six rebounds, and the Timberwolves forced 27 turnovers and finished with 23 steals.
   “I was happy to get the first league win,” Kanyer said. “It was nice to see us play Winlock tough for the second time in six days.
